Sports Authority of India has adopted the K.G & R.G.Chowdary Hr.Secondary School,Charada Teh. Mansa, Distt. GandhiNagar in Volleyball (Girls) discipline under SAI Extension Center of STC/SAG to cover the School/colleges for Wider Coverage Scheme, for the Year 2010-11. Under this Scheme there will be 20 trainees in volleyball (girls) discipline in the school between the age group of 14-21. The selection of trainees will be done by duly consistuted committee consisting of: a) Regional Head r his representative b) Head of the School/College/institution or his representative. c) Expert coaches from the school/college of the concerned discipline. d) Outstanding sports persons of the area. The recommendations of the committee will be sent to the Regional Office concerned for final approval. Age can be relaxed in case any sports person shows commendable results and has exceptional talent. For age relaxation the above committee will send its recommendation to the concerned Regional Office. The services of coaches/Experts will be provided from nearby STC on Specific dates and timings to be intimated separately by nearest AD,STC center Incharge. The nearest STC Center and the Western center, Gandhi Nagar would monitor the aforesaid Extension center. |
